Element Decor Velluto Matt decorative plaster is silky matte with a velvet effect. How does this material differ from other mother-of-pearl? Its overflow is more restrained and matte, and the plaster itself is a mixture of pearlescent pigments, special microspheres, matting and functional additives in an aqueous dispersion of acrylic copolymer.

Rules of application

The decorative coating is used for interior work. Also suitable for rooms with high operational load, such as offices, restaurants, hotel complexes, etc.

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be strong, dry, free from dust, dirt, oil and grease. Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned of old, flaking material and cleaned.
• Places affected by mold or moss should be thoroughly cleaned mechanically and treated with a fungicidal primer.

Application rules:

Apply one layer of universal primer.

Apply acrylic paint tinted to the desired color.

After choosing the VELLUTO MATT base, add a dye to it to obtain the desired color and mix well. This material can be applied in one or two layers. Using a plastic or stainless spatula, apply the first layer of material, evenly distributing the product over the entire surface.

After drying, apply a second layer of material and use a plastic or stainless spatula to create a pattern on it, passing the tool in different directions, while obtaining reliefs in texture and shade. Smooth the surface with a stainless steel trowel in different directions.
