Element D60 Finishing Putty is a ready-to-use paste-like putty ideal for leveling, repairing defects and finishing a variety of surfaces. It has a particularly elastic thixotropic consistency. After drying, the surface must be painted with the appropriate paint.

Advantages and properties of D60:

• The degree of gloss of the putty is matte.
• The putty has a milky white shade.
• It has good adhesion to various types of surfaces: concrete, aerated concrete, bricks, ceramic blocks, gypsum, lime and cement plasters, as well as for plastering the surfaces of GKP, CSP, chipboard, fiberboard, OSB, fiberglass and interlining.
• Consumption of putty is approximately 1.7 m2/kg.
• Contains marble flour, water, styrene-acrylic resins, mineral, polymer and other functional additives.
• Applies easily and evenly to the surface and sands well.
• The putty does not turn yellow over time.

Rules for using putty

The putty is applied in an even layer with the help of a stainless steel spatula or a machine for spraying fine-grained putty, evenly distribute a layer of the required thickness over the surface. In cases of use as a repair mass, when irregularities or chips are more than 3 mm deep, it is recommended to apply the material in several layers, allowing the previous layer to dry completely.

Applied at a temperature not lower than +5°C and not higher than +30°C.

Applying putty step by step:

1. The surface must be able to bear the load and be clean, dry and flat.
2. Clean the base from substances that have a negative effect on adhesion.
3. Prime with deep penetration soil.
4. If necessary, use an antiseptic soil to prevent the appearance of mold, mildew, algae or fungi.
5. Thoroughly mix the putty with a mixer at low speed, if necessary, dilute with water (up to 2%).
