Interior of the year
On December 7, the 10th All-Ukrainian Annual Architectural Contest "Interior of the Year" was held.
The jury judged the work of Ukrainian interior designers and architects. The competition also showed trends in design and interior.
The jury of the All-Ukrainian Architectural Competition included such well-known members as Carlo Colombo, Massimo Papiri, Karim Rashid, Patrick Schumacher. The organizing committee of the contest, headed by Igor Parubsky, entrusted MARCEL WANDERS - the wizard in design with the looks of a movie star, the author of world famous objects, some of which have already become history of world design and are displayed in museums (in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Copenhagen, MoMA in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, etc.). Wanders was also joined by a chief designer of Zaha Hadid Architects Christos Passas and a renowned Japanese architect Hiroki Matsuura, the founder of MADMA urbanism + landscape and a partner of the MASA architects. The Ukrainian part of the jury was represented by the winner of the Interior of the Year 2017 grand prix, Valerii Kuznetsov, a designer, Slava Balbek, an architect and co-founder of 2B GROUP, Nikolay Gulyk, the head of the Baraban+ studio, Dmitry Vasilyev, a chief architect of the Archimatika company, and Alexander Popov, CEO of Archimatika.
