A famous mural has been restored on Kalynivskyi Street in Dnipro, it is one of the most recognizable art objects of the Industrial District and its calling card.
In 2017, Yevheniya Gapchynska donated a painting depicting a Ukrainian woman treating the Dnipro River with bread and lard. Based on the motifs of the canvas, a mural six and a half stories high was created on the facade of the building. The mural disappeared last year due to the insulation of the facades of the building, but the city community initiated its restoration. The artist Lyudmila worked diligently on the renovation, despite the storm, rain and snow. Currently, the mural has returned to the facade of the high-rise building.

For the restoration of the art object, ELEMENT 8 facade paint was used. This material is an excellent solution for facade work, even such thin ones. The paint is resistant to weathering, so the mural will retain its original appearance for about 7 years.
During the restoration of the mural, the artist paid special attention to the stylistics of the original image so that the mural retained its authenticity.
Restoring urban murals is not only about the aesthetics of the city, but also about supporting contemporary urban art.
