Water-dispersion paint for plinth Hansa Sokkel

Hansa Sokkel by VIVACOLOR is a water-dispersion, weather-resistant paint designed to protect baseboards. This paint is used to cover baseboards of residential, commercial, industrial and warehouse premises. Base A allows you to tint the paint in light shades. Base C allows you to tint the paint in saturated shades. Usually the base is painted in a shade close to the color of the roof.

Advantages and properties of base paint:

• Creates a uniformly colored matte surface.
• Characterized by good adhesion to different types of surfaces.
• Suitable for concrete and plastered surfaces, mineral slabs, galvanized surfaces and surfaces made of light metal (e.g. drainpipes, etc.).
• It has high dirt-repellent properties.
• Easy to apply and does not splash.
• Paint consumption: up to 10 sq.m./l when working with mineral and metal surfaces and up to 8 sq.m./l. when working with concrete and plastered surfaces.
• The paint has high hiding power.
• Water can be used as a solvent (up to 5% of the volume).
• Coat the base of the house or the entire facade (except for those parts that are insulated with mineral wool). The painted base will retain its beautiful appearance for a long time, will be protected from street dust and dirt, and is easy to clean.

Application rules

Before painting, make sure the surface is clean and dry. Also check that the air and surface temperature is within +5°C +28°C, and the relative humidity is no more than 80%. We do not recommend painting when the air temperature is too high, or in direct sunlight.

Use a roller, brush or spray gun for painting.

Step-by-step paint application:

1. clean the surface from dirt and dust;
2. prime the surface;
3. paint the surface.

Drying time to the touch - 1 hour. For maximum protection of the base, paint should be applied in two layers, with a two-hour pause.
