Villa Protekt antiseptic primer for wood

Villa Protekt antiseptic primer for wood is deeply absorbed into the wood. Slows down the absorption of moisture and the spread of mold on the treated surface. Suitable for both professional use and private users.

This primer is used to impregnate sawn and planed wooden surfaces, timber, cladding boards, doors, window frames, fences, cornices and other external wooden surfaces before their subsequent finishing. Suitable for heat-treated wood. Cannot be used on interior surfaces of greenhouses.

Application conditions

1. Remove any loose paint and clean the surface of dust and dirt with a water-based cleaning solution.
2. Processing of new wood should be carried out at an early stage of construction work.

Villa Protekt must be mixed thoroughly before use. Apply in one layer with a brush, moving along the grain of the wood or by immersion. Particular care must be taken to process the edges and ends of the boards. Before treatment, you need to protect plants and shrubs from splashes. Transparent impregnation does not protect against UV rays, so we recommend painting impregnated wooden surfaces as soon as possible.

Drying time:

• 30 minutes – protected from dust;
• 24 hours – ready for painting.

Low temperature and humidity slow down drying time.
